Visit with Camano artist Jack Gunter at the Gateway Gallery this Saturday from 10-12. View his delightful new painting of Freedom Park- 4’x4′ it is an artwork large enough to cheer up an entire room. It depicts a view of the park looking to the West from the tip of Terry’s Corner.  You see the Gateway and garden, the playground, the sculpture park, and even the new labyrinth! The park is populated with recognizable figures important to the creative history of Camano: John Ringen, Karla Matzke, Mike Nestor, John Ebner, and more. And from last month’s fundraiser, 12 supporters of the arts donated to the CAA to have their likenesses painted into the scene. The painting is complete now, ready to be acquired by a true Camano area lover.
