Matzke Gallery – NW Inter. Pastel Show

Saturday, June 1st starting at 2:30 pm (5:00 to 7:00 potluck, BYOB) Opening Reception – including the “Announcement of Awards” at 3:30, with food and beverages.
The show continues thru July 7th.
Northwest Pastel Society (NPS) sponsors an International open juried “Pastels Only” exhibit, with substantial cash awards given. This year, exhibit and sale is held at Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park on beautiful Camano Is., WA. The International Exhibition is the flagship show of the Northwest Pastel Society. It is open to entries from pastelists around the world. This year 75 artists submitted nearly 200 paintings for consideration. From those, co-jurors Karla Matzke (pastelist and gallery owner) and pastelist Andrew McDermott had the difficult job of selecting 69 paintings for the final Exhibition.
