Soap Box Derby

Come experience the Windermere Stanwood Camano Island Soap Box Derby at Arrowhead Ranch on Camano Island. This family-friendly competition is for children ages 7-17, with derby racers and their mentors (usually a parent or grandparent) taking part in weekly build clinics to construct their car. After many weeks of preparation, racers compete for a chance take part in the World Championship Race in Akron, Ohio! This busy and fun-filled day is held the Saturday of Father’s Day Weekend every year. With 200+ races throughout the day, this is a great day out for racers, mentors, volunteers, and spectators!
