NW Watercolor Society Reception

The Northwest Watercolor Society’s 83rd Annual Open show will be held at Karla Matzke’s beautiful Camano Island Gallery from October 14th – November 12th. A reception will be held on October 28th. Molly LeMaster and Nicki Wight, Camano Island artists are the Chair and Co-chair of the the show this year.
Painters in water media, including watercolor, acrylic, gouache, egg tempera, and mixed media are eligible to enter the Open Exhibition. The exhibition has grown tremendously in size and reputation since its inception in 1940, with annual awards in 2023 totaling over $13,000. It attracts talented painters from across nine countries.
