Bobbie Mueller
My sister and I were always drawing, ever since we were given paper and pencil.
As an adult I only accidentally took up watercolor when a class I finally had the opportunity to take – switched from oil to watercolor! I love the spontaneity and transparency of watercolor, how it drips and blends, the picture even still painting itself after the brush and hand are removed. I love how a stroke or two can represent the essence of an object, inviting the viewer’s interpretation too.
I am a signature member of Northwest Watercolor Society and a member of Camano Arts Association.
I am represented by Seattle’s Fountainhead Gallery on Queen Anne (www.fountainheadgallery.com) and my work can be seen occasionally at Matzke Gallery on Camano Island.
