Brad Namie

Brad’s artistic experience has involved traditional media (painting, drawing), photography, and digital. In recent years, Brad began developing a computer application that incorporates imagery from those media types to create unique compositions using custom algorithms. The exploration of digital imagery using traditional media as an input is a result of concurrent involvement in painting and drawing as a passion along with working in the technology sector for numerous years.
Much of the content in Brad’s work is semi-abstract but his real passion is exploration of themes of identity and spirituality, often referencing classic devotional literature, personal experience, and dreams. Consequently, the human figure often appears in various forms of expression – visually stating that it is where we live, but our ‘being’ is much more than physical.
Brad’s academic background includes a BAA from the University of Florida and an MFA from Azusa Pacific University, both with a focus on Painting/Drawing.
