2027 Artwork Guidelines
‘Artwork’ refers to Fine Craft and Art.
Since its inception the Camano Arts Association Studio Tour has been considered a unique event in the Pacific Northwest. A few of the reasons are the beautiful surroundings, the consistently high quality of the artwork, and the individualism of each studio. Many people comment favorably about the warm welcome they receive from friendly artists in their studios. However, visitors (many traveling from great distances) will not return unless the artwork represents a higher quality than they can find elsewhere. To ensure a high level of consistent quality, CAA has established the following Artwork Guide for artwork on the Studio Tour.
- The artwork should be professional, high caliber, and of gallery quality. Your artwork will be juried along with the work of other fine artists. Therefore, it is recommended that you select three pieces of your very best, consistent work created in the last five years.
- Mass produced work, and work assembled from commercial components will not be considered.
- Artwork submitted to be juried is to be original work created only by the applicant artist.
- Jurors consider presentation very important. Therefore, it is recommended that your artwork be presented in a high quality and professional manner.
