Join the 2026 Studio Tour – Returning Artists
We are so glad you’re returning for another year of our community event. Please read all documents; no matter how familiar you are with the tour. Use this application if you:
- Were an individual artist or gallery in the most recent Studio Tour.
- If two or more artists operate under a single business license and collaborate to create a unified body of work (for example, jointly produced glass vessels, clay pots, or other products created as a single business), they will be required to pay one participation fee of $350 for the Studio Tour. This exception does not apply to artists who merely share a household or business name but create and present separate, individual works. Final determination of eligibility under this policy rests with the Board or Tour Steering Committee.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be a resident of Camano Island or Stanwood.
- Be a CAA Member Artist at time of submitting notification of intent to return. (Tour artists are encouraged to be integral members of the Camano Arts Association and the greater community year-round; thus, membership is required.
- Be registered as a business with the State of Washington. Sales tax payments are the responsibility of the artist.
- Must understand and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions for participation.
FEES:
- $350 Tour fee by October 31, 2025.
- 5% of total sales (pre-tax) during the days of the tour.
Producing the Studio Tour and providing the advertising and printed materials costs a considerable amount. Your fees along with grant funding make it all possible. If you make $5,000 in sales, you will owe $250 to CAA following the tour. Being on the tour does NOT guarantee you will make a certain amount of money. Your own relationships and marketing strategies to your customer base are very important. This is a high quality, professional, working artists tour.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
The Studio Tour and our other CAA programs (gallery, mentorship, meetings) takes literally hundreds of hours to produce and facilitate. Each studio tour artist and gallery are required to volunteer 20 hours by June 30, 2026, or pay for them at $30 per hour. Please see the Volunteer Hour Guidelines.
